Waad Academy heartily welcomed back our students from summer vacation in anticipation for the challenges and opportunities presented to them by the inception of the new academic year. On Sunday 20th of August our school’s doors opened to students and the corridors were filled with the excitement of returning to school and meeting up with peers. The atrium was decorated with colorful balloons while students participated in various activities during the welcome back session. Activities included the face painting corner, the Henna service, a magic show and other educational corners. Our academic leaders and teachers manned our educational booths to encourage our students to join this year’s prospective opportunities like the Student Council, Model United Nations (MUN), the Arabic Reading Challenge as well as exploring open job opportunities at school.
