Student Leadership – Prefect System​

This year, we continued assigning our prefects across Grades 7–12 (Girls Section) as part of our ongoing effort to promote leadership, responsibility, and teamwork among our students. ​ ​ Each class has two Class Prefects, along with one Zone Prefect, one Finger Prefect, and one Prayer Prefect. The aim of this initiative is to ensure that every student takes ownership of maintaining order and contributing to a positive, respectful, and organized school environment.​

We are proud to announce our Head of Prefects, Juri Fakiha, and Deputy Head of Prefects, Rodain Qadah, for the Academic Year 2025–2026. ​

To provide equal opportunities for all, different students will be selected each month to serve as Class, Zone, Finger, and Prayer Prefects—encouraging everyone to take part in leadership and school responsibility. ​

Basketball Tournament – Grades 7–12 (November 10 & 11)​

Our much-anticipated Basketball Tournament (دوري كرة السلة) took place on November 10 and 11, bringing together all classes from Grades 7–12 for two days full of excitement, energy, and team spirit!​

The students showed incredible enthusiasm, determination, and true sportsmanship throughout the games. It was wonderful to see their happiness, teamwork, and the spirit of healthy competition and winning. Click here for the pictures.​

طلاب أكاديمية وعد يشاركون في انطلاق برنامج "مارس الشعلة" بتجربة رياضية ملهمة في مدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية​

بتشريف كريم من وزارة الرياضة، وبحضور سعادة نائب الوزير معالي الأستاذ بدر القاضي، تشرف طلاب مدارس أكاديمية وعد بالمشاركة في انطلاق برنامج “مارس الشعلة” في مدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية.كانت الزيارة أكثر من مجرد جولة… كانت رحلة ملهمة في قلب الحلم الرياضي السعودي.​

من لحظة دخول البوابات، إلى خوض تجربة اللاعب المحترف داخل الملعب، عاش طلابنا تفاصيل لا تُنسى، مفعمة بالحماس والطموح، رأوا فيها الشغف يتحول إلى تجربة واقعية تُلهِم وتُحفِّز.وفي جلسة حوارية ثرية مع سعادة نائب الوزير، عبّر طلاب أكاديمية وعد عن آرائهم وطموحاتهم بكل ثقة، واستُمع إليهم باهتمامٍ يجسّد ما تصنعه رؤية المملكة 2030 من تمكينٍ حقيقي لجيل المستقبل.خرج طلابنا من التجربة وهم يحملون طاقة جديدة، وإيمانًا أعمق بأن الرياضة ليست مجرد ممارسة، بل أسلوب حياة، ورسالة بناءٍ وإنجاز.شكرًا لوزارة الرياضة على هذا اليوم الذي سيبقى علامة فارقة في مسيرة طلاب أكاديمية وعد،ولجميع من جعل من “مارس الشعلة” تجربة تتجاوز الخيال

Mawhiba Skills Sessions – Weeks 10 & 11

During Weeks 10 and 11, our Mawhiba Skills Sessions focused on Science and STEM learning. Students explored exciting hands-on activities that enhanced their scientific thinking and problem-solving skills as shown in the pictures here. 

We were truly delighted to see their high level of interest, motivation, and active participation throughout the sessions. Their enthusiasm reflects their passion for discovery and innovation—core values of the Mawhiba program.

Lower Primary Houses Launch

This week, our Lower Primary students from KG1 until Grade 2 proudly launched their school houses. During the launch event, children learned about the values that each house represents, how they can collect points, and what teamwork looks like in everyday school life. 

Many of our students came dressed in their house shirts, which created a wonderful sense of pride and excitement and helped them feel even more connected to their new house communities. 

We now look forward to fully implementing the house values and house points in our reward system, and we hope this will be a meaningful way for students to build teamwork, collaboration, and a deeper understanding of the values that their houses stand for. We also encourage parents to reinforce these values at home, so that together we can support our children in growing both academically and personally.

House Assignments Announced!​

Waad Academy Boys school is pleased to announce that House assignments have been released for all students. We encourage everyone to show teamwork, school spirit, and fair competition.


Students wearing their school uniform and actively representing their House will earn points awarded by teachers throughout the year. Check out the pictures here.

Class of the Week Initiative

We are excited to announce the launch of our new “Class of the Week” initiative! Each week, one class will be selected and rewarded based on specific criteria, including discipline, cleanliness, behavior, teamwork, and overall positive attitude.

This initiative aims to encourage students to take pride in their classroom environment and demonstrate exemplary conduct throughout the week. 

We would like to extend our congratulations to Grade 7B and their Homeroom Teacher, Ms. Amal, for being the very first winners of the Class of the Week! Their commitment, cooperation, and positive spirit truly set an excellent example for others to follow.

بطولة JISSC الودية الخارجية لكرة القدم (بنين تحت 15 عامًا)

إنجاز رياضي نفخر به بكل فخر واعتزاز، نبارك لأبطالنا في مدرسة أكاديمية وعد حصولهم على المركز الثاني في بطولة JISSC الودية لكرة القدم (بنين تحت 15 عامًا).

 قدم طلابنا أداءً متميزًا وروحًا تنافسية عالية عكست قيم الإصرار والعمل الجماعي.كل الشكر لمدربينا وطلابنا الأبطال على هذا الإنجاز المشرف، وإلى مزيد من النجاحات القادمة بإذن الله. 

مسابقة الإلقاء والخطابة في مدارس البنين

في أجواء مليئة بالفخر والإبداع، نظّمت مدارس البنين مسابقة الإلقاء والخطابة، التي قدّم فيها أبناؤنا أداءً مدهشًا أبهر أولياء الأمور والمعلمين على حدّ سواء. تنوّعت المشاركات بين قصائد تراثية ومعاصرة ونبطية، وخطب تاريخية وأدبية وإسلامية ووطنية، عكست جميعها ثراء اللغة العربية وجمال البيان.

لم يكن الهدف من المسابقة مجرد الحفظ، بل تنمية مهارات الإلقاء والخطابة ومواجهة الجمهور، وتعزيز الثقة بالنفس والقدرة على التعبير المؤثر أمام الآخرين. وقد تجلت في أبنائنا روح التنافس الشريف، والإبداع في الأداء، والتمكن من اللغة، ما جعل هذه الفعالية محطة مميزة في مسيرة المدرسة نحو تنمية الشخصية المتكاملة للأبناء.

The "Idioms Day" Event & Activity

On this day, our classroom transformed into a gallery of language. The main activity  for each student was to choose a common English idiom and design a simple craft, drawing, or 3D model that presents the idiom.

We had great fun. Our students were so excited and thrilled. They actively participated in the event. They learnt great concepts and came up with  so creative ideas 💡 We are looking forward to the next event 😀

إقامة صلاة الاستسقاء في مدارس أكاديمية وعد

امتثالًا لسنة نبينا محمد ﷺ، وتنفيذاً لتوجيهات وزارة التعليم، أقامت مدارس أكاديمية وعد صباح يوم الخميس صلاة الاستسقاء بمشاركة جميع الطلاب والهيئة التعليمية والإدارية.جاءت هذه الفعالية لغرس القيم الدينية في نفوس الطلاب، وتعزيز معاني التضرع والخشوع لله تعالى طلبًا للغيث، وتذكيرهم بأهمية اللجوء إلى الله في كل الأحوال.سادت أجواء من الإيمان والسكينة في أرجاء المدرسة، حيث رفع الجميع أكفّ الضراعة سائلين الله أن يغيث البلاد والعباد.

ختام نهائيات دوري كرة القدم

بحمد الله وتوفيقه، اختُتمت فعاليات ونهائيات الدوري الرياضي لكرة القدم للصف الرابع الابتدائي، والمرحلة المتوسطة، والمرحلة الثانوية في مدارس أكاديمية وعد.وقد شهدت الفعاليات منافسات مميزة، وروح رياضية عالية بين الطلاب، وسط تنظيم متميز ومشاركة فعّالة من الكوادر التعليمية والإدارية.

نسأل الله أن يجعل ما قُدّم في ميزان النجاح والتوفيق، وأن يديم على أبنائنا روح التنافس الشريف والإنجاز.

Waad Academy Students’ Visit to the Formula 4 Experience

In an inspiring and action-filled journey, Waad Academy students took part in the Formula 4 Experience held at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit. The visit was part of an interactive educational program designed to introduce students to the fascinating world of motorsports. 

During the trip, students learned about the stages of professional driver training, vehicle preparation, and safety procedures on the track. They also enjoyed a hands-on simulation experience that allowed them to feel the excitement of Formula racing up close.

It was a day filled with learning, inspiration, and excitement, opening new horizons for students to explore fields such as engineering, technology, and sports with passion and curiosity.
